The Medicine Hat REALTORS'® Charitable Foundation was established in 2005. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to act as a vehicle through which Members of the Medicine Hat Real Estate Board (MHREB) and the Public can raise funds for various charitable purposes.

All charities and organizations are encouraged to submit their grant requests throughout the year.  The deadline for grant submissions is April 30 and October 31.  Grant applications and information can be found at the bottom of this page.

  • Medicine Hat Pregnancy and Family Support Society - $7,000. donation for expansion.
  • Prairie Gleaners Society - $4,000. donation for vegetable cooling compressor repair.
  • United Way Southeastern AB- $15,000. in support of flood relief for Medicine Hat citizens.
  • AB Heart & Stroke Foundation - $3,000. in support of their Ladies in Red Heartbreakers event.
  • The Champion's Centre Medicine Hat - $6,000. to replace the floor in their main service areas.

 2012 - $25,000 GRANTED:

  • HALO - $5,000
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters - $2,500. in support of their in school mentoring program.
  • Medicine Hat & District Food Bank - $5,000. in support of their school brown bag program.

  • CORE Association - $10,000. in support of their project to provide housing for the developmentally disabled and respite care for the community at large.

  • The Alberta Real Estate Foundation (AREF) provided an additional $75,000 towards this project.

2006 - $15,000 GRANTED:  

  • The Champion's Centre $15,000.

2005 - $15,000 GRANTED:  

  • Habitat for Humanity $15,000.

2004 - $20,000. GRANTED:

  • Medicine Hat Community Society for Transitional Housing. 
  • The Alberta Real Estate Foundation (AREF) provided an additional $80,000 for this project.
